About CPIU-IFAD
Consolidated Programmes Implementation Unit (CPIU-IFAD) is a body set up by the Government of the Republic of Moldova in order to implement programmes of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD)
The Republic of Moldova has joined IFAD in 1996.
The Government of the Republic of Moldova in cooperation with the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) is currently implementing following programms, focused on poverty reduction and economic rural development:
- Rural Finance and Small Enterprises Development project;
- Agricultural Revitalisation project;
- Rural Business Development Programme.
These Programmes are aimed to enable business development through credit provision on favourable terms. Also, consulting services are being rendered, necessary to get credit and business launching/development.
Especially it’s worth mentioning the programmes opportunities to improve economically-derived rural infrastructure to facilitate business development.
